Redink Homes is a proud supporter of the premier Youth Focus fundraiser event, Ride for Youth. Now in its 13th year, the event managed to raise over $2.3 million for a great cause.
Youth Focus works with young people to help them overcome issues associated with depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal thoughts. Providing these mental health services relies largely on the goodwill and support of the corporate and community sectors that make it possible to continue to offer these services for free.
The Ride for Youth event is held annually over 5 days with riders travelling from Albany to Perth covering over 700kms to raise money for Youth Focus. While cycling through towns in WA’s South-West, Great Southern and Wheatbelt, the riders visit high schools to engage and inform students on issues of youth suicide, depression and self-harm, and the services that Youth Focus provides.
As an ex board member of Youth Focus, Scott Park is a great supporter of the event. “We’re proud that all of our brands (Redink Homes, B1 Homes and 101 Residential, Lets Finance) had such a strong involvement in this year’s ride. The target was to raise $1.75 million, to raise over $2.3 million is a fantastic result. We look forward to going bigger and better next year,” says Scott Park, Scott Park Group CEO.
